The Goring, Woodcote and
District Lions Club are holding a Charity Walk on Sunday 12th September stating
at 11:30 from Goring Lock.
The British Heart Foundation
are running a
Chilterns Way Challenge sponsored walk in the Wendover Area on Saturday 16th

Bell Walk this year on Saturday 21st August.
In January 2008 GGHW were awarded the
WfH Accreditation, one of the first groups in the country to receive this.
To be able to apply for this award, we have to show that we:
This means that we are recognised by health professionals as part of a nationally and robustly evaluated scheme. First Steps We offer a First Steps walk at 10:00 on Tuesdays. If necessary this can be an individually tailored walk. If you are interested in this walk. or know someone that might be, please send a mail to Bernard. We will be happy to advise on expectations and ensure that a leader is available. Fitness and the Walker
Local Personal Fitness
Trainer Ryan Phillips has put together a
Walking Specific Fitness Program. Leader Training We now have 30 trained leaders, but are always on the lookout for more.
