You won't believe the pictures below if you did not see the fields of red poppies during June 2004. We managed to do several walks along the footpath to the north of the field

This phenomenon brought visitors from far and wide

We have checked with the farmer who tells us that they were natural. They grew so thick because the fields were not sprayed against weeds. There has been no sign of poppies along this route in 2005
