Winter Walk Timetable

The Goring Gap Health Walks Timetable alters twice a year. This is to reflect the seasonal changes which add and remove the evening walks that are included from April to end of August. Demand for a particular walk on a particular day may lead us to review the arrangements mid season, though this is unlikely.

All advertised walks take place every week throughout the year, as shown below, including Easter and bank holidays. The ONLY exception being when a normal walk day falls on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day.

A walk may be cancelled due to exceptionally bad weather, such as a thunder storm. If this occurs, the leader will still attend the start point to inform walkers. This occurrence is very rare.

New Walkers please note:

New First Steps* walkers must Contact us so that we can assess their needs and ensure that there is a dedicated leader available. It may be possible to arrange an initial first step assessment at a time and day other than advertised. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the options.

No walker will be forced to walk above their natural pace (though encouragement may be given at any time!)
For more information on how walks are graded visit the Which Walk? page.

New walkers do not need to contact us before walking, though they are welcome to do so if they have any questions.
Just turn up at Goring Village Hall five minutes before the start of the chosen walk clutching the Walkers Registration Form (see below).

All New Walkers should download the Walkers Registration Form, fill it in and hand it to the Leader on their first walk.

See the up to date Leaders Rosters which shows who will be leading a particular walk.
