- Sonning Common Walks Visit this detailed site to find out more about local health walks from Sonning Common, Oxfordshire (five miles west of Reading). One of our closest (geographically) 'rival' groups.
- West Berkshire Walks are centered around Thatcham but cover Newbury, Greenham Common, Kintbury and Snelsmore Common.

- Oxon 20s 30's Walkers. Ramblers Association site aimed at this specific age group
- Oxon Weekend Walkers. Ramblers Association site aimed at working people who want some country walking at weekends
- Reading Rambling Club is a friendly independent walking club which has been enjoying the local countryside for over 70 years. They also venture further a-field for long days out, weekends away and holidays abroad. They meet most Saturdays and Sundays for walks between 5 and 15 miles. The Wednesday Group meet midweek for walks between 3 and 8 miles and the Mountain Section spend weekends tackling longer walks in wilder terrain.
- BBOWT Sponsored Walks. Visit this site to get details of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust events, especially their Sponsored Walks in June
- Car Free Walks around Reading and Thames Valley. Innovative scheme devised by a local resident, to encourage the use of public transport and get people out in the country walking for fitness. Wendy is working on improving the web site to make it easier to navigate
- Oxfordshire Walk & Cycle - The very best of Oxfordshire walks and cycle routes complete with supporting information, mapping and places to stay.
- Oxford County Council Walks - Downloadable maps and directions for circular walks, short easy walks and long walks on Oxfordshire County Council's web site.
- Walking in England, a new web site with lots of routes and information for us walkers. You can even set Berkshire or Oxfordshire as a favorite.
- Walking Englishman, unlike England, is a new website. It is intended as a reference directory for people who enjoy that most timeless of pursuits - walking and rambling in the countryside. As a directory, they will be featuring articles on walking, walking equipment and clothing.
- Walking Forum is a forum for discussing all aspects of country walking & hiking in the UK with boards for general chat, gear, photography, and all the popular UK walking destinations.
- The Chilterns Society A really good site full of useful information for walkers (as well as other activities). There is a particularly long list of walks in various areas as well as a comprehensive list of 'Walkers Pubs' (I thought Walkers made crisps!?)
- The Chilterns Conservation Board A fantastic site for those that want leaflets and publications on where to walk and what to see in the Chiltern Hills and Vales. It contains loads in downloadable, printable pdf format. There is one called Views of the Thames that features two walks that begin from Goring & Streatley Railway Station.
- The Ramblers Association Rambling, Walking - what's the difference? Visit this site to find out.
- The Ridgeway Walks that take place every May. See their new and improved web site for details. Helen was the only member of our group to walk in 2005 and she has a special mention on the site.
- The Thames Valley Long Distance Walkers Association (TVLDWA) who organise lots of events in our local area.

- Visit Goring & Streatley. A comprehensive interactive website full of all the information a visitor could possibly need. Useful to locals too. Launched 6th May 2015

- Total MSK A Caversham based company specialising in sports and Remedial Massage, Chiropractic, Dry Needling, Gua Sha and IASTM treating private patient’s in a mobile capacity and up to 20 miles from Reading town centre and specialize in work and sports related musculoskeletal conditions.
