town copse bluebells & Wild Garlic

From The Bull crossroads in Streatley take the A329 towards Wallingford.
In 500 yds fork left onto A417 towards Wantage.
In anothe 500 yds fork left again into Rectory Road and follow this until you reach the small Ridgeway car park.
Don your boots and set of up the Ridgeway track which rises quite steeply, so pace yourself, before flattening out a little but it never stops rising. After about 1.5 miles you will come across a substantial metal security gate on the right. Take the small pedestrian gate and continue up the track until you find a stile on the left. Cross the stile into Town Copse.
Take the path straight ahead, ignoring the path that veers off right along the fence surrounding the Gamekeepers house.
By now you should be wlaking through bluebells. Further on these morph into Wild Garlic and if you are lucky enough to have good weather the scent of both flowers should by now fill your senses.
Go past the pointer to where The Ridgeway is marked. This is the car park.
